The challenge
The codelab had to support a live class and independent study. Both settings called for a clear scope, an appropriate level of detail, and steps that learners could follow to submit an experiment.
What I did
Set the scope and level
I clarified the audience, scope, and technical depth with subject-matter experts.
Developed the tutorial
I expanded the experts’ draft and integrated relevant Plx script samples.
Tested the instructions
I tested the material with GeoGA team members before publishing the final draft.
The outcome
At the 2018 GeoGA University classes, 7 of 8 participants submitted their first GMM experiment after completing the codelab.
